Stina Söderqvist, PhD, Head of Behavioral Science, Doconomy walks us through this three-part series explores how behavioural science can help us understand and drive sustainable change. We uncover the psychological, social, and contextual factors that shape human decision-making, discuss why it is so hard for people to behave sustainably and what can we do to nudge in the right direction. Together, the sessions provide practical examples and perspectives for enabling meaningful and lasting change.

Session 2: Why is it so hard for people to behave sustainably and what can we do to help?
We examine the barriers—such as habits, biases, and systemic constraints—that make sustainable behaviour challenging and identify strategies to overcome them.

Session 3: Examples of behavioural science in practice
We showcase real-world applications where behavioural insights have successfully guided individuals and organizations toward more sustainable choices.
