About the course

Our “Nature is your Business” learning modules provide companies with a better understanding of how they can anticipate risks, adapt strategies, and seize opportunities.

The modules also demonstrate how businesses can use frameworks and approaches, such as circular economy, to reduce their impact on nature while enhancing their long-term competitiveness.

Clarifying different terminology to enable collaboration and clear strategies. The discussion will also highlight the risks and dependencies businesses have on natural capital. From science to corporate action: This session will focus on actionable sustainability strategies that businesses can adopt to, while keeping an eye on the finances, mitigate their environmental footprint while contributing to planetary resilience. Ensuring actions that will address our challenges for biodiversity, water and climate. Featuring insights from Johan Rockström, Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, and Sir David Attenborough, we will discuss transformative pathways for aligning business practices with scientific sustainability frameworks. This introduction session goes a bit deeper into explaining the science and business connection to biodiversity loss, climate change as well as the freshwater challenge.
